The reason we built it

You've been moving your chair all day

You set it down facing the field. Then the sun comes round. The talk moves to the other side of the fire. The fish are over there now.

So you twist your neck. Or you stand up, lift, shuffle, drop back down. Ten times in an afternoon. A chair that points one way makes you do all the moving.

The Pacto moves instead of you

Stay sitting. Push with a heel. The seat comes round a full circle — smooth, level, quiet — and stops exactly where you want it.

Your drink stays in your hand. Your eyes stay on the game.

By the numbers

Small numbers. Big difference

360° Swivel A full circle. Push with a toe and follow whatever you came to watch.
3.7 lb Weight Light enough to forget you packed it. Carry it one-handed, all day.
300 lb Capacity Drop into it hard. Lean back. It doesn't flinch.
1 Bottle Packs to about the size of your water bottle. Fits a pack, a boot, a pannier.
How it works

Sit down once. Stay there

The swivel

Let the view come to you

The swivel hub sits dead centre of a five-point base. Push with a heel and the whole seat comes round — level, quiet, on grass or gravel.

Everything you brought is within a quarter turn. The cooler, the tackle box, the fire, the conversation.

3.7 lb packed

It hangs off one finger

Packed down to about a water bottle, carry bag included. It rides in a daypack, behind a truck seat, in a pannier.

You stop deciding whether to bring a chair. You just have one.

300 lb rated

Sit down hard. It won't flinch

Alloy poles, moulded hubs and a wide five-point stance, rated to 300 lb. No creak, no wobble, no second thoughts about whether it'll take you.

Lean forward, reach sideways, rock back. It stays planted.

Three colours

Up in seconds, nothing loose

Shake out the frame, drop the seat over four corners, sit down. Nothing to thread together in the dark, nothing small to lose in the grass.

Beige, black or green — it looks like furniture, not equipment.

Still comfortable at hour four

The slung seat takes the shape of your back and spreads your weight across the whole panel instead of pressing it into two bars.

Your back stays dry

Mesh runs down both sides of the seat, so the heat goes out instead of into your shirt. Summer chairs usually get this wrong.

No bar under your knees

The front edge sits below your thigh line, so your weight lands on the seat panel — not on a pole cutting across the back of your legs.

Steady on soft ground

Five feet spread the load instead of four. It sits level on grass, gravel and sand where a narrow frame would sink or rock.

Carry bag included

A zip bag with a shoulder strap, sized to the packed chair. It clips to a pack and lives in the boot without taking a whole drawer.

One chair, made properly

We build a single chair in three colours and sell it straight to you. Everything goes into the swivel, the frame and the seat.

Proven design
100,000+
positive reviews behind this seat design

A proven seat. A new idea

The shape of this chair is one of the most reviewed in the outdoors — the slung seat, the alloy frame, the water-bottle pack. Hundreds of thousands of people have carried it up hills and onto sidelines.

We started with the seat everybody already trusts. Then we put it on a swivel.

Questions

The things people actually ask

Does the swivel feel wobbly?

No. The hub is held between the seat frame and a five-point base, so the turn stays level and the feet stay planted. Leaning forward or reaching sideways feels solid.

Will it turn on grass, sand or gravel?

Yes — the base carries the turn, so the feet never move. On soft sand or deep mud, set it on a mat or a board so the feet stay on top.

I'm a bigger guy. Will it hold me?

It's rated to 300 lb. The wide five-point stance is what makes it feel steady rather than perched, and it's the reason it holds more than most chairs its size.

Is it comfortable for a whole game?

Yes. The slung seat spreads your weight across the fabric instead of pressing it into two bars, and mesh side panels let the heat out. Most people sit through a double-header without shifting.

Will it cut into the backs of my legs?

No. The front edge sits below your thigh line, so your weight lands on the seat panel rather than on a bar under your knees.

How do I get up out of a low chair?

Put a hand on the frame each side and push up with your feet under you. Hold the frame rather than the fabric.

How small does it pack, and does it come with a bag?

About the size of your water bottle, and yes — a zip carry bag with a shoulder strap is included. It fits a daypack, a truck door pocket, a motorcycle pannier, or a kitchen drawer.

Is this a new design?

The seat is not — it's the shape behind more than 100,000 positive reviews, and it's been carried up hills and onto sidelines for years. The swivel is the new part, and it's the reason we built the chair.

How is it $99?

We make one chair in three colours and sell it direct. No shop margin, no catalogue of models to pay for. Everything goes into the swivel, the frame and the seat.

What if I don't like it?

Send it back within 30 days for a full refund.

What's covered if something breaks?

Two years on the frame and the swivel. If either fails in that time, we replace the chair.

How fast does it ship?

Ships anywhere in the United States. Take two and shipping is free.

From the workshop

Why we put it on a swivel

I spent years on the sideline doing the same stupid thing over and over: standing up to turn my chair around.

Light had already been solved. Small had been solved. Nobody had solved that. So we built one that turns, made it hold 300 lb, and priced it at what a chair should cost.

Sit in it once and you'll wonder why they all don't.
